Our Programmes
In addition to the one-on-one work our social workers do with families, there are number of programmes which are targeted to specific members of the family. These programmes complement the other work being completed with the family.
EllaV8 Youth ProgrammesA 6 week programme for 13-17 year olds to connect with others, push through boundaries and learn new social skills
FABulous Diamonds ProgrammeDesigned for teenagers between 13 and 17 years old, to connect with others, form new friendships, and push through barriers
Individual SupportFor teens who are unable to manage group programmes and need help dealing with emotional regulation, communication, mental health difficulties and relationship struggles
Tamariki ProgrammeAn 8 week group programme designed to to help build resilience, self-esteem, confidence, and inner strength

The children from class really benefitted from attending the Tamariki Programme. The friendships they made have been strengthened in the classroom. They have learnt how to manage tricky emotions and have shown increasing confidence in all areas. The experiences outside the classroom were something the children still talk about.

We are a not-for-profit community trust
We rely on the support of government funding, local and national trust funding, as well as donations to provide our social work services to families in need.
Our services are free, but donations are always appreciated. Any donations we receive go directly to supporting families in the Western Bay of Plenty and Tauranga.
