A free monthly support group designed for grandparents who find themselves in a variety of situations, from not having access to see their grandchildren, right through to people parenting their grandchildren either full time, part time, or by default. The support group is facilitated by a trained social worker, who is also a grandparent, and helps with strategies, education, support and socialisation. Practical support is provided through guest speakers, understanding technology and linking with other support services. 
An extension of this group is our Safety and Support Programme for older people – Support for the vulnerable older adult.
